TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER PACIFICA TOURING (NA). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FUEL GAUGE GAVE INCORRECT FUEL AMOUNTS. THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY A DEALER WHO INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THEY WOULD RECALIBRATE THE GAUGE AND FOR HER TO FILL THE TANK AGAIN AND TO WAIT AND SEE. AFTER LEAVING THE DEALER AND FILLING HER TANK, THE FAILURE OCCURRED AGAIN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS THEN CONTACTED AND ADVISED HER THAT IF THE VEHICLE HAD NOT STALLED ON HER THEY WOULD BE UNABLE TO ASSIST. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 50,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

YOU COULD ACTUALLY FEEL THE BUMP IN THE STEERING WHEEL AT INITIAL ACCELERATION AS THE MOTOR MOUNTS CONTINUED TO GET WORSE. GENERATED A VERY METALLIC NOISE IN THE TRANSMISSION AS WELL. MOTOR MOUNTS HAD TO BE REPLACED. IT'S HARD TO TELL WHAT RESIDUAL EFFECTS THIS WILL HAVE ON THE VEHICLE SINCE THIS HAS AFFECTED THE OVERALL ALIGNMENT OF THE TRANSMISSION, STEERING ETC. I'VE SPOKEN WITH OTHER OWNERS THIS HAS HAPPENED TO. APPARENTLY, THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE THE INCEPTION OF THE CAR MODEL, 04-05. *TR
