I WAS DRIVING AT 50 MPH AND PULL OUT TO PASS ANOTHER CARD ACCELERATING TO 55 MPH. THE CAR LURCHED AND STARTED TO LOSE POWER. I THOUGHT IT WAS TEMPORARY BUT IT CONTINUED TO DECREASE TO 40, 30, 20 AND 10 MPH WHICH I PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD TO PREVENT A HAZARD ON THE HIGHWAY. I CALLED AAA FOR A TOW WHICH ARRIVED ABOUT AN HOUR LATER. THE NEXT MORNING I DECIDED TO TRY AND START THE CAR. THE WRENCH LIGHT WAS OFF AND IT STARTED BUT I DID NOT DRIVE IT. THE NEXT DAY WHICH IS MONDAY I DECIDED I WAS GOING TO CHANCE IT TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER 30 MILES AWAY. IT ACTUALLY MADE IT THERE AND THE DIAGNOSTIC DONE BY THE DEALER CAME UP WITH NO REPAIR CODES FOR THE VEHICLE, SUBSEQUENTLY, I PICKED IT UP AND DROVE IT HOME AT THE END OF THE DAY. ON TUESDAY, IT STARTED UP AND ONE MILE FROM THE HOUSE, IT CLUNKED OUT AGAIN AND LOST POWER. AGAIN I CALLED AAA TO TOW ME TO THE DEALER. I GUESS BECAUSE IT WAS A RECENT OCCURRENCE, THE CODE SHOWED UP IN THE DIAGNOSTIC SO THEY CLAIM IT IS FIXED BY REPLACING THE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY. IT HAS DRIVEN WELL FOR ONE DAY AND I HOPE IT CONTINUES. IS THIS BASIS FOR A RECALL. PLEASE ADVISE. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP AND HE WAS ADVISED THAT THE ENTIRE INSTRUMENT CONTROL PANEL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 1000.
