TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 MAZDA TRIBUTE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR PASSENGER, FRONT PASSENGER, AND REAR DRIVER'S SIDE DOORS WERE DEFECTIVE. THE DOORS COULD NOT BE OPENED FROM WITHIN THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT. THE FRONT DOORS COULD NOT BE OPENED FROM THE OUTSIDE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A MAZDA DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT IT WOULD COST $400 TO REPAIR THE REAR DOORS AND $500 FOR THE FRONT DOOR. IN ADDITION, THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR BEGAN STICKING. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 80,000.

2005 MAZDA TRIBUTE, CONSUMER RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE, MECHANIC REFUSES TO REPAIR VEHICLE. *KB THE CONSUMER ATTEMPTED TO TAKE HIS VEHICLE TO THE NEAREST DEALER AND WAS TOLD HE HAD TO FILL OUT A QUESTIONNAIRE BEFORE HE COULD MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. IN LATE JUNE HE RECEIVED A LETTER FROM THAT DEALER STATING, HE SHOULD RETURN TO HIS SELLING DEALER FOR SERVICING NEEDS AND THAT THEIR DEALERSHIP WAS PRIMARILY FOR CUSTOMERS WHO PURCHASED VEHICLES FROM THEM. *JB
