THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS NOT A MECHANICAL OVERRIDE TO OPEN THE TRUNK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SEVERAL DEALERS AND THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED BY EACH OF THEM THAT THERE WAS NO REMEDY FOR THE FAILURE BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WAS OPERATING AS DESIGNED. THE DEALER THEN REFERRED HIM TO THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND REFERRED HIM TO PAGE 79 OF THE OWNER'S MANUAL, WHICH EXPLAINED HOW TO OVERRIDE THE SYSTEM. UNDER MODERATE ACCELERATION IN COLD WEATHER, THE VEHICLE HESITATES CONTINUOUSLY AND REPEATEDLY. 3 TRIPS TO DEALER AND A CALL TO FORD TO RESOLVE ISSUE. THEY REPLACED A FUEL INJECTOR AND PROBLEM WENT AWAY. PROBLEM MAY BE COMING BACK, ABOUT A YEAR LATER. *TR
