MY INFINITI M37X HESITATES ON TAKE OFF. WHEN COMING TO A STOP THE TRANSMISSION SEEM TO BE DOWN SHIFTING AFTER COMING TO A STOP. IT SHIFTS AT RANDOM TIMES THROUGHOUT THE DRIVING CYCLE. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR A LONG TIME. I'M TAKING THE CAR INTO THE DEALER THIS WEEK TO GET THE SOFTWARE UPDATED. THIS IS RIDICULOUS INFINITI. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 INFINITI M37. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION HESITATED AND EXHIBITED A LOUD BANG WHEN SHIFTING. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND THE VEHICLE WAS TEST DRIVEN. THE DEALER RE-PROGRAMMED THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE AND THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE PERFORMED WELL FOR A WHILE BUT THE FAILURE SOON RECURRED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS A DESIGN FLAW WITHIN THE VEHICLE BUT A REMEDY WAS NOT YET AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,473 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
