TCS/CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS CAME ON. PREVIOUS OWNER CONFIRMS THAT TCS/CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAD TURNED ON BEFORE. IN BOTH CASES, THE REPAIR SHOP RESET THE LIGHTS AND EVERYTHING SEEMED FINE. ON THE MOST RECENT SHOP VISIT, THE LIGHTS WERE RESET AND THE REPAIRMAN COMMENTED ON A SLIGHT LATE SHIFT BETWEEN 1 AND 2. I HADN'T NOTICED ANYTHING UP UNTIL THIS POINT, SO I DECIDED TO WAIT AND WATCH FOR THE SHIFT ISSUE. 6 MONTHS LATER, THE LATE SHIFT PROBLEM HAS GROWN. THIS CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO REV TOO HIGH AND SHUDDER WHEN THE SHIFT IS FINALLY ACCOMPLISHED. IT IS SOMETIMES POSSIBLE TO APPLY THE GAS PEDAL IN A VERY SPECIFIC MANNER TO AVOID THE STUTTER. OTHERWISE IT OCCURS DURING EVERY SHIFT BETWEEN 1 AND 2. HAVING FOUND MANY OTHER EXAMPLES OF THE SAME PROBLEM ONLINE, I HAVE NOT HAD ANY WORK DONE (PENDING A REQUEST THAT HONDA PAY FOR THE REPAIR). *TR
