TIRES
THE TRUCK DEVELOPED A SLIGHT VIBRATION THAT FELT LIKE IT WAS IN THE FRONT END. IT WAS. THE TIRE WAS STARTING TO SEPERATE. FIRESTONE WAS CONTACTED AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD HAVE TO LOOK AT THE TIRE. TO CONDENSE THE STORY, FIRESTONE SAID THEY COULD NOT MAKE AN ADJUSTMENT TO THE TIRE BECAUSE IT WAS OVER FIVE YEARS OLD. NOTE: THE TIRE(S) HAVE GOOD TREAD AND WERE NOT ABUSED. ALSO, THE TIRES ARE SITTING IN THE GARAGE (FOR MONTHS)STILL MOUNTED AND THAT ONE TIRE IS SELF-DESTRUCTING ON ITS OWN. THE TIRE IS NO LONGER TRUE (ROUND), LOOSING ITS TREAD AND EVEN THE BELT PLYS APPEAR TO BE PULLING APART. THE TIRE: FIRESTONE FIREHAWK ATX 31*10.5R15LT M/S LOAD RANGE B.( DOT NUMBER: VD60AXP235 TIRE SIZE: 31*10.5R15 )
