Ford Window Sticker by VIN — Free Lookup
Ford still posts original Monroney stickers on a public link, and we point you straight at it before offering anything of our own.

✓ Free window-sticker-style report — specs, safety equipment, EPA panel, crash stars, recalls
Ford is one of the few carmakers left with a public window sticker link that needs no login and costs nothing. The catch is retention: Ford deletes stickers, sometimes within a month of the build date, so the link works best on new and recent vehicles. Enter your VIN below and try Ford's official PDF first; if it comes back empty, our free window-sticker-style report fills in what public data can, with no email asked.
Get the original Ford sticker first — free, straight from Ford
- Find the 17-character VIN on the driver's door jamb sticker, the dashboard corner under the windshield, the title, or the dealer listing.
- Open windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=YOURVIN with your VIN in place of YOURVIN, or type it in the form on this page and we build the link for you.
- The PDF opens right in your browser. Save or print it; this is the actual Monroney document, with every factory option priced and the total MSRP at the bottom.
- Read what loaded. A real sticker shows the model, options, and prices. If the page says 'Please check back later,' Ford has no public sticker for that VIN, so move to the fallback below.

Ford's sticker link works, until it doesn't
Ford Direct hosts original window stickers at a plain public URL. No account, no CAPTCHA, no fee. Stickers usually appear around the week of scheduled production, which is why order-holders on truck forums refresh the link daily while their F-150 or Bronco is being built.
The weak spot is how fast Ford takes them down. Owners describe stickers vanishing about a month after the build, and there is a whole Mustang6G thread titled 'What happened to the Ford Window Sticker lookup? Doesn't work now.' Once purged, the sticker moves to a dealer-only archive called Historical inside Ford's PTS OASIS system. When we tested the endpoint in July 2026, a 2026 Super Duty VIN returned the real 1.9 MB sticker while a 2025 F-150 Lightning was already gone. So treat '2007 and newer' as the ceiling, not a promise.
The failure page looks like a success
This trips people up constantly. Ford's server answers every request with a PDF, even for a VIN it has never heard of. If the sticker is missing, you get a lookalike placeholder that says 'Please check back later. The window sticker has not yet been released for this vehicle.'
The wording suggests the sticker is coming soon, but the same page appears whether the vehicle is too new or the sticker was purged years ago. If you see it on a used Ford, waiting will not help. Run our free report below for the federal data, then ask a dealer or Ford Show Parts for the original.
What to check on a Ford sticker before you pay
The bottom-right box is the number that matters: total MSRP, which is base price plus every option plus the destination charge. One F-450 shopper used it to hold the line at sticker price when the dealer's own website link was broken, and a Bronco buyer at CarMax wanted it badly enough to offer to pay someone to pull it. If a used truck is listed above its original MSRP, the sticker is your written proof.
Options are the other half. Every factory package is listed with its own price, so you can confirm an F-150 really has the FX4 Off-Road Package and its skid plates instead of just the badge. There are more fake trim badges on the road than factories ever shipped, and the sticker settles it in one line.
One Ford-specific detail: a green-tinted sticker marks a retail customer special order rather than dealer stock, a small clue about how the truck was originally specced and sold.
When the sticker is gone: our free report, and its limits
Our report is a window-sticker-style document, not the original Monroney, and we would rather say that plainly than sell you a recreation. It is built from federal sources: the NHTSA VIN decoder for engine, transmission, assembly plant, and safety equipment; EPA fueleconomy.gov for the fuel economy panel with real annual cost figures; NHTSA for 5-star crash ratings and recalls; plus a current market value estimate.
What it cannot show is exactly what only Ford's build records hold: the factory options list with prices, destination charge, total MSRP, and paint code. We grey those rows out on the report instead of guessing. Competitors that fake this block are why a RAM owner once paid for a sticker listing $2,890 in options his truck never had. Everything here is free, unlimited, and asks for no email.
Every other route, priced honestly
Ford Show Parts sells official duplicates of 2007–2024 stickers for $40, printed like the factory original. That is the right call for a special-order truck you plan to keep or resell, since owners hang on to these as provenance.
Cheaper and free routes exist with trade-offs. Any Ford dealer can print a purged sticker from PTS OASIS if you ask. Carfax has a free path: add the VIN to the Glovebox in a free account, and owners have pulled stickers for 2014 and 2022 Fords that way. CarEdge is free but wants an account and limits you to 3 lookups per 10 minutes. MonroneyLabels charges $9.99 and results vary; one F-150 owner paid and got a generic label missing his packages. Start with Ford's own link, since it costs nothing to try.
