TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE MAGNUM. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE REAR LIFTGATE OPENED AND REMAINED IN A STATIONARY POSITION. UNEXPECTEDLY, THERE WAS AN ABRUPT CLOSURE OF THE LIFTGATE. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A MINOR INJURY TO THE NECK AND SHOULDER AREA AS A RESULT OF THE UNEXPECTED CLOSURE OF THE LIFTGATE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED AT THIS TIME. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE UNAVAILABLE.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
LOW FUEL LIGHT CAME ON, STOPPED AT A GAS STATION TO FILL UP. I FILLED THE TANK FULL UP TO WHEN THE GAS-REFILL-NOZZLE CLICKED OFF, AND THEN A LITTLE MORE - UP TO THE NEXT WHOLE DOLLAR. RECAPPED MY TANK, AND BEGAN TO DRIVE AWAY. THE ENGINE BUCKED A BIT THEN STALLED. WAS A BIT HARDER THAN NORMAL TO GET IT RESTARTED. THEN SLOWED FOR THE FIRST TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND IT SUDDENLY DIED IN BUSY TRAFFIC! HARD TO GET IT RESTARTED. PULLED AWAY FROM THE STOP LIGHT AND IT BUCKED AND STUTTERED SOME MORE AND THEN CLEARED UP IN A COUPLE MILES. THIS HAS HAPPENED ABOUT 3 TIMES SINCE THIS BEHAVIOR STARTED. TWO TIMES FOR SURE THE CAR WAS RUNNING DURING THE REFILL. I WILL PAY ATTENTION IN THE FUTURE TO SEE IF IT ONLY HAPPENS DURING REFILL WITH IT STILL RUNNING. *TR
