TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHALLENGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AFTER A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF TIME AND THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. EACH TIME THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS BUT NO CAUSE FOR FAILURE WAS DETERMINED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND THEY DISPATCHED A MECHANIC, WHO REBUILT THE TRANSMISSION AND REPLACED TWO OF THE COMPUTERS. THE FAILURE RECURRED SIX MONTHS LATER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT FURTHER REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 51,000. UPDATED 6/17/13 *CN THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE SHIT OFF SEVERAL TIMES WHILE MAKING TURNS, AND THEN IT WOULD TAKE A WHILE FOR IT TO RE-START. ALSO, THE TRANSMISSION SEEMED TO GO INTO NEUTRAL AT TIMES WHEN CHANGING GEARS. ON ONE OCCASION, THE CONSUMER SMELLED AN ODOR OF BURNING WIRES. THE DEALER REPLACED THE RADIO AND FUSE BOX. THE VEHICLE WOULD START AND WHEN IT WAS PUT IN GEAR, IT WOULD STALL.
