ENGINE SPUTTERING AND FAILURE OCCURED AT 23000 MILES WHILE DRIVING. VEHICLE SERVICED BY DEALER SEVERAL TIMES, REPLACING AND REPAIRING ELECTRICAL SYSTEM COMPONENTS. DEALER HAS REPLACED WIRING HARNESS/ IGINITION COILS, BARE ELECTRICAL WIRE SHORTED/ PCM REPLACED/REPLACED CLOCK SPRING TWICE, AND REPLACED FRONT CONTROL MODULE. CONSUMER WASVERY CONCERNED ABOUT ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. DOES NOT FEEL VEHICLE IS SAFE.*AK

THIS VEHICLE HAS VEERED TO THE RIGHT EVER SINCE I TOOK DELIVERY. I CALLED THE DEALER WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF DELIVERY AND RETURNED WITH THE VEHICLE. THEY HAVE WORKED ON IT 4 TIMES NOW REPLACING PARTS AND MAKING ADJUSTMENTS. THEY NOW TELL ME THAT IT IS A CARACTERISTIC OF THE VEHICLE AND THAT I NEED TO GET USED TO IT. I FEEL VERY UNSAFE DRIVING IT. I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TOMMORROW WITH ANOTHER DEALER TO HAVE THEM TAKE A LOOK AT IT. THE MECHANIC AT METRO C/P AGREES THAT I HAVE A PROBLEM, BUT IS AT A LOSS ON HOW TO SOLVE IT. HE TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS A SIMILAR VEHICLE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM JUST BEFORE I HAD HAD MINE IN.
