AFTER STOPPING AT A GAS STATION AND GETTING OUT OF VEHICLE, IT SUDDENLY LURCHED BACKWARD THROWING THE CONSUMER TO THE GROUND, CAUSING SERIOUS INJURIES TO HER LEFT LEG AS IT CAME INTO CONTACT WITH THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR, VEHICLE ALSO COLLIDED WITH THE CEMENT BUFFER AT THE END OF THE FUEL ISLAND AND THE REAR BUMPER OF A PARKED VEHICLE, ATTORNEY STATES THIS INCIDENT IS IDENTICAL TO THE FAILURE OF THE JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. STEERING:RACK AND PINION
THIS CAR FOR SURE IS A LEMON. I AM ATTACHING THE E-MAIL THAT I HAVE SENT TO SEVERAL PEOPLE. THIS CAR HAS GIVEN ME NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. PLEASE HELP ME WITH SOME MUCH NEEDED ADVICE. LAST SEPTEMBER 2012, THE RACK AND PINION FAILED. THE VEHICLE HAD 52,000 MILES ON WHEN THE FIRST RACK AND PINION FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. HOWEVER, IT STILL HAD THE SAME NOISE AS BEFORE. THE DEALER THEN STATED THE VEHICLE NEEDED A NEW STEERING COLUMN. THEN I WAS TOLD THE AXLE AND WHEEL BEARING WERE BAD. ..UPDATED 12/17/13 *BF
