REFERRING TO THE JANUARY 21, 2010 TOYOTA RECALL OF CERTAIN LATE MODEL VEHICLES DUE TO A ACCELERATOR PEDAL ... I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF A 2007 TOYOTA TUNDRA WITH APPROXIMATELY 41K MILES. I HAVE EXPERIENCED VEHICLE BEHAVIOR CONSISTENT WITH THAT RESULTING FROM A STUCK ACCELERATOR ... BOTH IN FORWARD AND REVERSE ... ON AT LEAST THREE OCCASIONS. AFTER READING OF TOYOTA'S RECALL, I CONTACTED THE PHONE NUMBER ON TOYOTA'S WEB SITE AND THEIR REPRESENTATIVE DENIED THAT THERE WAS A RECALL. ANOTHER TOYOTA REPRESENTATIVE WAS AWARE OF THE RECALL AND PROVIDED THE NAME OF A LOCAL DEALER ... THEIR SERVICE MANAGER ALSO DENIED THAT THERE WAS A RECALL EVEN WHEN I READ THE RECALL NOTICE FROM THE TOYOTA'S WEB SITE!
