POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
THE INHIBITER SWITCH WHICH PREVENTS THE CAR FROM BEING PUT INTO GEAR WITHOUT THE BRAKE BEING DEPRESSED GETS STUCK AND DOES NOT ALLOW THE CAR TO BE PUT INTO GEAR. THE CONSOLE MUST BE TAKEN OFF. I TOOK THE CAR IN TO THE DEALER 4 TIMES FROM 9/95-1/96 JUST AFTER I PURCHASED IT. THEY COULD NOT FIND THE PROBLEM UNTIL I LEFT THE CAR WITH THEM FOR 3 DAYS. THEY REPLACED A CONTROL UNIT, WHICH DID NO GOOD. THEY REPLACED THE INHIBITOR SWITCH AND IT WAS FIXED. NOW, 3 YEARS LATER I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AGAIN.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR SEVERAL WEEKS. WHEN DRIVING WITH MY FOOT ON THE ACCELERATOR AND WHEN I TAKE MY FOOT OFF AND START TO BRAKE, THERE IS A SLIGHT ACCELERATION JUST AS I START APPLYING THE BRAKE. IT HAPPENS QUITE OFTEN AND I HAD GOTTEN USED TO IT BUT ONE DAY WHEN I WAS A PASSENGER AND MY WIFE WAS DRIVING AND NOTICED IT. THE NEXT TIME I DROVE IT, I NOTICED IT. IT SEEMS TO BE DOING IT MOST OF THE TIME. IT MAY BE A PRECURSOR TO UNINTENDED ACCELERATION. *TR
