I WAS BACKING MY 2010 DODGE RAM 2500 4X4 WITH 6200 MILES ON IT OUT OF A PARKING SPOT. THERE WAS SNOW ON THE GROUND AND THE TRUCK WAS IN FOUR WHEEL DRIVE. I BACKED OUT AND PUT THE TRUCK IN DRIVE AND I HEARD A LOAD SNAP. THE TRUCK WENT FORWARD ROUGHLY 30 YARDS THEN CAME TO A SUDDEN STOP AND WOULD NOT GO FORWARD NO MATER HOW MUCH I PUSHED ON THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. I GOT OUT OF THE TRUCK WALKED TO THE FRONT AND NOTICED BOTH TIRES WERE TOED IN. THE DRIVER SIDE OUTER TIE ROD END HAD BROKEN. THE TRUCK WAS TOWED TO THE DODGE DEALER WHO SAID THAT I HIT SOMETHING CAUSE TIE RODS JUST DON'T BREAK LIKE THAT. I ASSURE YOU I HIT NOTHING! THEY CHARGED ME $637 TO REPLACE THE WHOLE STEERING LINKAGE WITH A KIT THAT THEY SAID WAS AN UPGRADED STEERING SYSTEM. SOMEONE IS GOING TO BE KILLED DRIVING ONE OF THESE TRUCKS AND HAVING THIS HAPPEN TO THEM. I AM NOT THE ONLY 2010 2500 RAM OWNER WITH THIS PROBLEM. I HAVE ALL OLD PARTS. *TR

AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS OF 65-70 TRUCK STARTED TO SHAKE VERY BAD WERE I ALMOST LOST CONTROL SLOWED DOWN AND STOPPED CHECK ALL TIRE AND STARTED GOING AGAIN AND AS SOON AS I HIT 65MPH IT HAPPENED AGAIN TILL I SLOWED DOWN TO 30MPH I ONCE AGAIN STOPPED CHECK TIRES ALL GOOD THIS IS A COMMON THING WITH THE DODGE RAM FROM DOING A SEARCH OF THE INTERNET ON WHAT OTHER DODGE RAM OWNERS ARE CALLING THE DEATH WOBBLE AND TO THIS DATE DODGE SAYS NOTHING IS WRONG THIS PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE LOOKED IN TO AND EITHER MAKE DODGE DO A RECALL TO FIX THERE PROBLEM BEFORE SOMEONE GETS KILLED OR INJURED BECAUSE OF THIS. *TR
