WE OWN A 2004 JEEP LIBERTY THAT WE PURCHASED USED IN 2004 FROM A JEEP DEALER. THIS VEHICLE HAS A BALL-JOINT RECALL. WE NEVER RECEIVED A CONTACT FROM JEEP REGARDING THIS RECALL. I CONTACTED THE LOCAL JEEP DEALER ON NOVEMBER 13 2006 AND ASKED TO BE PUT ON THE LIST. I DID NOT FEEL THAT THE GENTLEMAN THAT TOOK DOWN OUR INFORMATION REALLY CARED AND IT CONCERNED ME BECAUSE AS OF TODAY WE HAD RECEIVED NO CONTACT BACK FROM JEEP. I CALLED JEEP AND WAS TOLD THAT OUR INFORMATION HAD NOT BEEN TAKEN DOWN AND I WAS TOLD THAT WE WOULD BE ADDED TO THE LIST. PER THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE RECALL YOUR SITE IS LISTED ON THE WEB TO GO TO IF YOU FEEL THAT JEEP IS NOT DOING THEIR JOB PROPERLY REGARDING THIS RECALL AND WITH WHAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED I DO BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE IN FACT NOT HANDLING THIS PROPERLY. *JB

DT*: THE CONTACT STATED A NHTSA RECALL NOTICE # F23 FOR THE SUSPENSION: FRONT: CONTROL ARM: LOWER BALL JOINT WAS RECEIVED ON 10/25/2006. THE SALES/SERVICE DEALER INFORMED THE CONTACT THE VEHICLE WAS # 66 ON THE WAITING LIST, DUE TO THE DELAY IN GETTING REPLACEMENT PARTS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT ALERTED.
