I HAVE A 2007 JEEP COMPASS. AND FOR THE PAST YEAR I HAVE HAD SEVERAL ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE STALLING WHEN I AM DECELERATING OR STALLING WHEN AT A COMPLETE STOP. SOME TIMES THE VEHICLE JERKS SO BAD THAT MY SEAT BELT LOCKS UP. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I BOUGHT IT AND THEY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT BUT THAT THE TECH'S ARE UNFAMILIAR WITH THE NEW TRANSMISSION IN THIS VEHICLE. I ALSO HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE DRIVER SIDE SEATBELT IT CLICKS WHEN I PUT IT ON BUT THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN IT WILL COME RIGHT OFF. I HAD A SCREW STUCK IN MY FRONT TIRE TODAY AND COULD NOT GET THE FRONT TIRE OFF WHEN WE FINALLY GOT IT OFF WE FIGURED OUT WHY IT WOULD NOT COME OFF THERE IS RUST. I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE PROBLEMS AND SCARED THAT THE VEHICLE WILL STALL WHEN I AM ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED UNDER THE RECALL BECAUSE THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE FAILURE WAS NOT REPORTED TO THE MANUFACTURER. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 6,700.
