THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THEY WERE UNABLE TO LOCATE A PROBLEM. IN 2009 THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 08V203000 (POWER TRAIN: AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: CONTROL MODULE (TCM, PCM)). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PREVIOUS RECALL REMEDY FAILED TO CORRECT THE DEFECT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE RECURRING PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
