THE SEAT BELT LOCKED IN AN OPEN POSITION UPON IMPACT, CAUSING MY FATHER INJURY TO HIS CHEST AS HE WAS IMPACTED UPON THE STEERING WHEEL. I ALSO DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THE DRIVER AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY; THE FORCEFUL COLLISION CAUSED THE FRAME IRREPARABLE DAMAGE. THIS VEHICLE WAS DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS. I ASKED THAT A REPRESENTATIVE FROM AMERICAN HONDA CORPORATION TAKE A LOOK AT THE VEHICLE WHILE IT WAS LOCATED AT THREE (3) DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. THEY IGNORED MY REQUEST. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA CR-V. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE WOULD SHAKE VIOLENTLY. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE WAS TILTED AND THAT THERE WERE TWO BROKEN MOTOR-MOUNTS BOTH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR COMPRESSOR WAS DEFECTIVE AND WAS REPLACED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 67,000. *TR
