TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 GMC K1500. THE CONTACT WAS PERFORMING AN OIL CHANGE WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS MOUNTED ON THE LIFT. SUDDENLY, HE HEARD A LOUD NOISE AND THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE PLUNGED TO THE GROUND WITH THE REMAINDER OF THE CAB STILL MOUNTED ON THE LIFT. THE VEHICLE'S FRAME FAILED WITHOUT WARNING. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THEY WERE NOT FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED AND IS CURRENTLY INOPERABLE. I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT 50MPH IN THE RAIN AND MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS QUIT WORKING. I HAD THEM IN THE LOW SPEED SETTING. IT HAPPENED AGAIN AFTER THE MOTOR HAD A CHANCE TO COOL OFF AND THEY WERE TURNED BACK ON. I HAVE NOT YET ATTEMPTED TO REPLACE ANY COMPONENTS. *TR
