SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC |
WHILE DRIVING HOME I PUSHED THE BRAKE PEDAL AND EXPERIENCED A RUPTURED BRAKE LINE UNDER THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR. LUCKILY NO CRASH OCCURRED BECAUSE I WAS ON A BACK ROAD WITH NO TRAFFIC. AFTER INSPECTION IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT ALL BRAKE LINES WERE VERY BADLY CORRODED AND ALL WERE READY TO FAIL. THE WORST DAMAGE APPEARED NEAR THE WHEELS WHICH I WOULD ASSUME IS DUE TO ROAD SALT AND MOISTURE. *TR |
