TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 GMC CANYON. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, HE NOTICED THAT THE FRONT END WOULD SHAKE VIOLENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY A DEALER AND THEY ADVISED HIM THAT EVERY BOLT IN THE FRONT END WAS LOOSE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BY TIGHTENING ALL THE BOLTS. THE FAILURE RECURRED CONTINUOUSLY FOR APPROXIMATELY FOUR MONTHS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND THEY OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 12,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. 2008 GMC CANYON CREW CAB 4WD: PURCHASED NEW JUN08. IN JULY08 DEALER REPLACED 1 TIRE. IN DEC08 DEALER REPLACED ALL 4 TIRES. I ASKED ABOUT CAUSE FOR WEAR AND WAS TOLD "YOU GOT A BAD SET OF TIRES". FEB09 THE TRUCK IS IN AGAIN WITH CUPPED TIRES AND I'M TOLD I NEED TO PAY FOR AN ALIGNMENT TO PROPERLY DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. VEHICLE IS NOT DRIVEN HARD, HAS MOSTLY HIGHWAY MILES, DOES NOT PULL AND THE TIRES ARE ALWAYS PROPERLY INFLATED AND ROTATED......THE DEALER IS COVERING A BIGGER PROBLEM WITH MISDIRECTION OR MISINFORMATION TO GET TO THE END OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD -- THEN I'M STUCK WITH A BIG REPAIR BILL. *TR
