ALL FOUR WINDOWS WOULD NOT GO DOWN ON VEHICLE. WENT TO CAR LOT TO HAVE IT CHECKED OUT. MECHANIC FIXED THE PROBLEM. WENT BACK TO WORK. I GOT OFF AT 5:00PM. WENT HOME AND PARKED THE VEHICLE. 2 HOURS LATER A NEIGHBOR TOLD ME THAT THE VEHICLE WAS ON FIRE AFTER BEING PARKED FOR HOURS. *TR

ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
I HAVE A 1999 FORD EXPEDITION EDDIE BAUER WITH A TRITON 5.4 LITER V-8 AND THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT I HAVE HAD A SPARK PLUG BLOW OUT OF THE CYLINDER HEAD.. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RE-OCCURRING PROBLEM WITH THE FORD ENGINE, BUT I LIKE MANY OTHERS AM GETTING TIRED OF SHELLING OUT THOUSANDS F DOLLARS TO FIX A "DESIGN DEFECT" I AM A LAID OFF AUTO WORKER LIVING IN MICHIGAN AND I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT FORD WANTS US TO STILL BUY THEIR MISTAKES AND THEN BAIL THEM AND THE OTHER MANUFACTURING COMPANIES OUT OF WHAT IS CLEARLY THERE OWN DOING.. AND AS FAR AS MY TRUCK I THINK WILL BE LOOKING INTO A BETTER KIND OF CAR AND COMPANY!!!!!! *TR
