DRIVING FROM THE AIRPORT IN ROCKFORD, ILL. - ALL HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT. FORTUNATELY, I WAS IN THE FAR RIGHT LANE AS WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER. I WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE ONLY BY DISCOVERING THAT HOLDING THE BRIGHTS/TURN SIGNAL LEVER IN, ENABLED THE HEADLIGHTS TO COME ON. I WAS TRULY FORTUNATE, THAT NO ONE GOT SERIOUSLY INJURED AS THIS WAS ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY. A RECALL NEEDS TO BE ISSUED IMMEDIATELY BY FORD TO ENSURE THAT NO ONE DIES BECAUSE OF THIS!!!!! ANY THOUGHTS?
