TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 DODGE MAGNUM. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE GEAR SHIFTER WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF PARK. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL DEALER WHERE IT WAS REPAIRED AND DIAGNOSED AS A DRIVE SHAFT MALFUNCTION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.

MY MAGNUM WOULD PULL TO THE RIGHT. I TOOK THE CAR INTO THE DEALER SINCE I BOUGHT NEW TIRES AND RIMS AT THE TIME THE PULLING TO THE RIGHT BECAME WORSE. THE DEALER REPLACED THE FRONT STEERING BOX AND RACK WITH A NON-DEALER ONE. PROBLEM GONE. THE ONLY REASON THE DEALER REPLACED WITH A NON CHRYSLER ITEM PART WAS THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY IN STOCK. *JB
