AFTER SEVERAL WEEKS OF DIAGNOSTICS, IT APPEARS THAT THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE WAS OPERATING INCONSISTENTLY WHICH CAUSED EXCESS GASOLINE TO FLOW TO THE CATALYTIC CONVERTERS THAT EVENTUALLY CLOGGED THE CATALYTIC CONVERTERS AND CAUSED A CYLINDER TO BLOW. AS A RESULT, THE ECM (A FAIRLY INEXPENSIVE PART) CAUSED OVER $10,000 OF DAMAGES TO THE VEHICLE. THERE COULD BE A SEVERE RISK WHEN THE CATALYTIC CONVERTERS ARE CLOGGED AS THEY BECOME SO HOT THEY WILL GLOW RED AND CAUSE A FIRE IF ANY FLAMMABLE ITEMS ARE BELOW SUCH AS LEAVES, FOR EXAMPLE. *TR
