2007 DODGE CHARGER. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO REIMBURSEMENT FOR REPAIRS *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED WHEN SHE RETURNED TO HER VEHICLE, SHE WAS UNABLE TO GET THE GEAR OUT OF PARK. THE DEALER REPLACED THE SHIFTER AND CABLE. THE CONSUMER ALSO STATED THE REAR WINDOW WAS DAMAGED DUE TO A DEFECTIVE HEATING ELEMENT IN THE DEFROSTER GRID. IT OCCURRED WHEN THE WINDOW SHATTERED ON NOVEMBER 18, 2011. IT WAS THE SECOND TIME SHE USED THE REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER SINCE PURCHASING THE VEHICLE. THE FIRST USE WAS IN 2010. SHE HAS SINCE REALIZED DURING THAT FIRST USE, THE HEATING ELEMENT IN THE DEFROSTER GRID MALFUNCTIONED THROUGH OVERHEATING WHICH CAUSED A BROWN SPOT ON THE REAR WINDOW. THE AUTOMATIC REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER TIMER FAILED TO TAKE EFFECT CAUSING COMPLETE DRAINAGE OF THE BATTERY. *JB

WHILE DRIVING MY 2006 DODGE CHARGER, IT DIED AS I WAS TURNING. THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED ON ME COMPLETELY. I TOOK IT IN TO OUR LOCAL DODGE SERVICE CENTER AND THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. A MONTH AND A HALF LATER THE SAME PROBLEM HAPPENS, THIS TIME WHILE STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT ON OUR LOCAL HIGHWAY. WE HAVE TAKEN IT BACK TO THE SAME DODGE SERVICE CENTER AND THEY STILL CANNOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. I HAVE BEEN RESEARCHING ON LINE AND THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH DODGE VEHICLES. IF THEY DO NOT FIX THIS AND THIS CAUSES AN ACCIDENT WHICH INJURES ONE OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS I WILL BE SUING DODGE! THIS WILL TURN INTO A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. *KB
