I PURCHASED THE USED 2003 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER MAY 2006. LAST YEAR THE SPEEDOMETER STARTED JUMPING ABOVE MY ACTUAL SPEED. APPROX. 4 DAYS LATER IT RECTIFIED ITSELF. IT HAS HAPPENED 4 - 6 TIMES AND EACH TIME THE SAME THING HAPPENS AND IT TAKES ABOUT 4 DAYS TO FIX ITSELF AGAIN. I HAVEN'T KEPT A LOG BUT IT SEEMS TO BE HAPPENING MORE FREQUENTLY. I'VE READ OTHER OWNERS STATING WHAT THEY HAD DONE. I CANNOT AFFORD $300 - $400 TAKING IT TO A DEALER. HOW MANY COMPLAINTS NEED TO MADE BEFORE A RECALL IT SET IN MOTION FOR CHEVROLET? THANK YOU! *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 60 MPH WHEN A SHORT CAUSED THE POWER DOOR LOCKS AND WINDOW SWITCHES TO FUNCTION INTERMITTENTLY UNTIL BECOMING INOPERABLE. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 12V406000 (VISIBILITY:POWER WINDOW DEVICES AND CONTROLS )HOWEVER THE MANUFACTURER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT ELIGIBLE UNDER THE RECALL BASED ON THE STATE IN WHICH SHE RESIDED.
