FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE
WHILE TRAVELING TO WORK I ATTEMPTED TO STOP AND THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. I WAS ABLE TO STOP BY USING ONLY THE EMERGENCY BRAKE BUT ONLY AFTER APPROX. 100 FEET. I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE TRUCK HOME BY USING FOUR WHEEL LOW AND ALLOWING THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION TO KEEP ME AT A SAFE SPEED. I THEN CONTACTED MY MECHANIC WHO LIVES RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD AND HE CAME UP AND LOOKED AT THE TRUCK. HE TOLD ME THE BRAKE LINE HAD RUPTURED AND ADDITIONALLY ALL THE BRAKE LINES SHOULD BE REPLACED ALONG WITH THE FUEL LINE THAT APPEARS TO BE BADLY CORRODED. I THEN CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED THE TRUCK AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAVE HAD NO ISSUES WITH THE BRAKE LINES ON THESE TRUCKS AND THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO TO HELP ME. I THEN LOOKED ON THE INTERNET AND WAS SHOCKED TO FIND OUT THAT THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF ISSUES WITH THESE TRUCKS AND THE NTSB WAS LOOKING INTO A RECALL . *TR

ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
VEHICLE STABILITRACK AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS CAME ON. ENGINE WARNING LIGHT CAME ON. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO TURN THE VEHICLE ONTO A HIGHWAY ACCELERATION RAMP, THE CAR STEERING WHEEL LOCKED AND THE ENGINE DIED. COULD NOT UNLOCK THE POWER STEERING. I WAS TOWING A HORSE TRAILER WELL WITHIN THE GROSS WEIGHT FOR THE VEHICLE. I HAD A HORSE IN THE TRAILER AT THE TIME. I ALSO HAD CHILDREN IN THE CAR. AFTER A FEW MINUTES, I WAS ABLE TO START THE VEHICLE AND PULL INTO A SAFER AREA. I WAS NOT ABLE TO TOW THE TRAILER HOME BUT I WAS ABLE TO GET THE VEHICLE HOME. THE CAR HESITATED AND CHUGGED ALONG SURGING INTO EACH GEAR. WHILE AT A STOP THE VEHICLE HESITATED AND THE ENGINE SPUTTERED. I HAD TO PUT THE TRUCK IN NEUTRAL AND PUT MY FOOT ON THE ACCELERATOR SO THE CAR ENGINE WOULD NOT DIE. THE TRANSMISSION WOULD SURGE EACH TIME I STEPPED ON THE GAS. LIMITED TURNING RADIUS ON THE VEHICLE AND I WAS NOT ABLE TO MAKE A SHARP TURN WITHOUT A GRINDING NOISE. *TR
