EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TURN SIGNAL
TURN SIGNALS FUNCTIONALITY INTERMITTENTLY FAILS. MY AUTOMOBILE TURN SIGNALS FAILURE RATE IS AN ESTIMATED 20 PERCENT. I DRIVE MY VEHICLE NEVER KNOWING WHEN THE OPERATION OF THE TURN SIGNALS WILL FAIL. THIS IS A HAZARD TO MYSELF AS WELL AS TO OTHERS. I HAVE READ OTHER 2000 IMPALA OWNERS COMPLAINTS CONCERNING THIS SAME ISSUE ON WWW.CARCOMPLAINTS.COM. I HAVE DISCUSSED THIS PROBLEM WITH A CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP. THEY CLAIMED THAT NO RECALLS OR SERVICE BULLETINS EXISTED CONCERNING THE TURN SIGNALS INTERMITTENT FAILURE. I HAVE TRIED TO DETERMINE WHAT WAS CAUSING THIS PROBLEM. OBVIOUSLY, IT ISN'T A BLOWN FUSE. IS IT A ELECTRICAL CONNECTION, A MALFUNCTION OF A ELECTRICAL SWITCH OR THE TURN SIGNAL UNIT? *NM

SERVICE BRAKES
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS ENGAGED BUT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO DECELERATE AND THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES OR VISIBLE DAMAGE TO EITHER VEHICLE. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE FAILURE RECURRED THREE TIMES WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 38,000.
