TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHEVROLET CRUZE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SUPPORT FOR THE HEADREST RESTRAINT WOULD NOT REMAIN FASTENED ONTO THE FRONT DRIVER SEAT. THE HEADREST WAS REPLACED BUT THE REPLACEMENT HEAD REST COULD NOT BE ADJUSTED TO THE OCCUPANT'S HEIGHT. THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE MADE AWARE OF ISSUE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THERE HAD BEEN A DESIGN CHANGE ON THE HEAD RESTRAINTS AND THE CONTACT HAD BEEN PROVIDED WITH THAT NEW DESIGN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,000.

I TOOK MY 2011 CRUZE TO MY NEAREST CHEVY DEALER FOR SAFETY RECALL 1208 ("ENGINE FLAMBE"). I WAS CHARGED $2.66. THE CASHIER MUMBLED SOMETHING ABOUT A FEE IMPOSED BY THE STATE OF DELAWARE FOR EITHER RECYCLING OR DISPOSAL. ¶ I ALWAYS UNDERSTOOD THAT THE FULL COST OF A SAFETY RECALL MUST TO BE PAID BY THE MANUFACTURER. ¶ I'D LIKE A REFUND OF THAT $2.66.
