DT: WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES THERE WAS A DELAY IN STOPPING. THE CONSUMER FIRST EXPERIENCED THE PROBLEM ON 7-15-05. THE CONSUMER TOOK VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD HIM THAT THE ABS CONTROL MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. ALSO, THERE WAS CONSTANT NOISE COMING FROM THE ABS CONTROL MODULE EVEN WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF. THE CONSUMER HAD TO REPLACE A BATTERY BECAUSE OF THIS. THE DEALERSHIP UNHOOKED THE FUSE TO MAKE IT STOP. THE CONSUMER EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEM THAT WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA RECALL 05V379000/GM RECALL 05068 . WHEN CONTACTING THE MANUFACTURER, THEY TOLD CONSUMER THIS VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL DUE TO VIN. *AK

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 CHEVROLET AVALANCHE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 75 MPH THE VEHICLE STALLED, THEN AUTOMATICALLY RESTARTED INDEPENDENTLY. ALL OF THE WARNING LIGHTS IN THE VEHICLE ILLUMINATED AFTER THE FAILURE AND THE DOOR LOCKS BEGAN ERRATICALLY FUNCTIONING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR APPROXIMATELY ONE MONTH HOWEVER, WITHIN THAT MONTH THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE OR DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 88,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 92,000.
