STEERING
MY COMPLAINT IS A DUPLICATE OF ALL THE OTHER STEERING COMPLAINS. IT HAS A CRUNCHING-GRINDING SOUND AND IT IS GETTING WORSE. IT STARTED AT ABOUT 41,000 MILES. I SEE THAT IT STARTED MUCH EARLIER WITH MANY OTHER LACROSSE'S. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU GM??? WHY IS THERE NOT A RECALL ON THIS. I JUST PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE FROM A REPUTABLE DEALER AND OF COURSE IT STARTED JUST THREE MONTHS AFTER. I EVEN PURCHASED THE EXTENDED WARRANTY WHICH OF COURSE DOES NOT COVER THIS. I CANNOT AFFORD TO FIX THIS. I HAVE NEVER OWNED A GM BEFORE AND THOUGHT THAT THIS COULD BE MY LUCKY CAR. WRONG. *TR

ENGINE
2012 BUICK LACROSSE. CONSUMER STATES MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED WHILE DRIVING, HE COULD SMELL A BURNING ODOR AND A VERY LOW KNOCKING SOUND COMING FROM THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSIS. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THERE WAS NO OIL ON THE DIP STICK, THE REAR MAIN SEAL WAS LEAKING AND THERE WAS OIL LEAKING BETWEEN THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION. THE CONSUMER ALSO STATED A WARNING LIGHT NEVER APPEARED ON THE DASHBOARD TO WARN HIM OF A PROBLEM. *JB
