THE WINDSHIELD HAS LAMINATION PROBLEMS THAT ARE KNOWN BY HONDA. AS A RESULT, MY VISION IS IMPAIRED WHILE DRIVING. HONDA SERVICE COULD NOT DO ANYTHING, AS ALL THE CARS ON THE LOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM. I CALLED HONDA CUSTOMER SERVICE, AS THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDED. CUSTOMER SERVICE RECOGNIZES THE PROBLEM, BUT CHOSE TO DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. THE CAR IS A BRAND NEW 2007 HONDA CRV. THEIR ANSWER IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO ME. *JB

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 HONDA CR-V. THE CONTACT STARTED THE IGNITION, AND SHIFTED INTO PARK WITH THE BRAKE PEDAL ENGAGED, SUDDENLY THE VEHICLE SURGED FORWARD. THE INTERMITTENT FAILURE OCCURRED WHENEVER SHIFTING INTO THE PARK POSITION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER SIX TIMES FOR THE IDENTICAL FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THE FAILURE WAS COMMON AND THE VEHICLE OPERATED NORMALLY. THE CONTACT STATED THERE WAS A RECALL RELATED TO THE DEFECT UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 11V395000 (POWER TRAIN: AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: CONTROL MODULE (TCM, PCM); HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,465. ... UPDATED 09/19/11 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE WOULD LUNGED FORWARD INTERMITTENTLY.
