I PURCHASED AN ACURA 2001 CL TYPE S 2 YEARS AGO AND WAS NOT AWARE THAT THE CAR HAD RECALL PROBLEMS INVOLVING THE TRANSMISSION. ON 02/19/08 MY TRANSMISSION STARTED ACTING UP. IT MAKES A LOUD NOISE AND WILL NOT GO IN REVERSE. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE HONDA DEALER IN SERRAMONTE, CA. THEY REFUSE TO FIX THE CAR STATING IT WAS REPAIRED YEARS AGO. THEY SAID IT WILL COST ME $4,000.00 TO REPAIR THE CAR. I AM STILL MAKING PAYMENTS ON THIS CAR AND CANNOT AFFORD TO REPAIR IT MYSELF. I FEEL THEY SHOULD REPAIR IT BECAUSE IT HAD A RECALL ISSUE.
