WE HAVE A 2008 TOYOTA 4RUNNER SPORT. WHEN GOING FROM REVERSE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE DOES NOT ALWAYS GO INTO DRIVE. YOU PRESS THE GAS AND NOTHING HAPPENS. YOU THEN HAVE TO PUT THE VEHICLE BACK INTO NEUTRAL AND THEN INTO DRIVE TO BE ABLE TO MOVE THE VEHICLE. TOOK TO THE DEALER NUMEROUS TIMES AND THEY SAID IT WAS "NORMAL". THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE AS IF WE ARE BACKING UP ONTO A ROAD OR ANYWHERE BY THAT MEANS AND WE HAVE TO SPEND THE EXTRA TIME PUTTING THE VEHICLE BACK INTO NEUTRAL AND THEN INTO DRIVE IT WASTE VALUABLE TIME. I CURRENTLY HAVE 2000 MILES ON A 2013 TOYOTA 4 RUNNER SR5 (PURCHASED NEW). IN THE FIRST 30 DAYS OF CITY AND FREEWAY DRIVING, IT AVERAGED 14.5 MPG TO 15.6 MPG. IN THE FOLLOWING MONTHS (3.5 TOTAL), IT AVERAGED 15.4 TO AN OCCASIONAL 16.6 MPG. A FAR CRY FROM THE CLAIMED "17 CITY, 19 COMBINED, 22 HWY). A TOYOTA MECHANIC TESTED THE VEHICLE (10 MILES) AND CLAIMED THE VEHICLE'S AVERAGE IS 19.5 MPG PER THEIR COMPUTER...IS TOYOTA MISREPRESENTING THE FUEL CONSUMPTION OF THE 4 RUNNER? IF SO, SHOULD 4 RUNNERS OWNERS BE COMPENSATED? *TR
