ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
ON JULY 2011 HAD TO PAY FOR NEW TRANSMISSION FOR MY TRUCK AFTER THE RADIATOR LEAKED IN TO THE TRANSMISSION, TALKED WITH NISSAN AND TRIED TO GET THEM TO STAND BEHIND IT AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD HAVE IF THE TRUCK WAS, IN SIDE THE NEW WARRANTY THEY HAD PUT OUT BUT I WAS AT 91611. THEY KNOW WHAT IS WRONG AND HOW TO FIX THIS. THEY HAVE TO PUT THE TRANSMISSION COOLER ON THE OUT SIDE OF THE RADIATOR ABOUT $ 200.00 FIX.THIS REPLACE COST, ME MORE THAN $ 6000.00 TO GET FIXED. NOW AT 97980 MILES WE ARE BACK AT THE SHOP HAVING THE SAME THING, DONE OVER AGAIN, THIS TIME THEY ARE COVERING AFTER I HAD TO HAVE A OUT SIDE TECH COME IN AND PROVE THAT THIS WAS HAPPENING AGAIN. THE FIRST SAID IT HAD TO BE REPLACED AND THEN THEY HAD ANOTHER ONE CHECK IT AND SAID I WAS HEARING THE TIRES AND THE TRANSMISSION WAS GOOD. I WOULD NOT PICK UP MY TRUCK BECAUSE THE 12 MONTH WARRANTY WAS ABOUT TO RUN OUT ON JULY 26 2012 . AFTER THE OUT SIDE TEC CHECKED IT OUT AND SAID THE TRANSMISSION HAD COOLANT MIXED WITH IT THEY ORDERED EVERY THING NEW AGAIN...SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO PAY FOR THE FIRST ONE.. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN FRONTIER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING LESS THAN 2 MPH AND DEPRESSING THE BRAKES, THE VEHICLE UNEXPECTEDLY LUNGED FORWARD. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS HOWEVER, THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60. UPDATED 12/30/13*CN THE CONSUMER THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS LOCATED TOO CLOSE TO THE GAS PEDAL. WHEN THE BRAKE WAS APPLIED, HE OCCASIONALLY HIT THE GAS PEDAL, WHICH CAUSED THE ENGINE TO REV AND THE VEHICLE TO LURCH FORWARD.
