POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
BOUGHT A 2006 MITSIBUSHI RAIDER BROKE DOWN THE FIRST DAY I TOOK IT HOME. SHOULD HAVE TOLD THEM TO SHOVE IT THEN. I HAD A FRIEND THAT WORKED THERE AND TRUSTED HER THAT THEY WOULD FIX THE PROBLEM. GOT THE TRUCK BACK AND THE WHOLE SPEEDOMETER BROKE. IT WOULDN'T GO INTO DRIVE OR PARK. JUST SIT THERE LIKE IT WAS IN NEUTRAL. I DROVE MORE RENTAL CARS AND CARS OFF THEIR LOT THAN I PROBABLY HAVE DROVE THE TRUCK. IT CONTINUES TO DO THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I BELIEVE THE LAST COUNT WAS 15 TIMES IN THE SHOP FOR THE SAME THING. EVERYONE KEEPS TELLING ME YOU HAVE A WARRANTY DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. WELL IT'S AGGRAVATING WHEN IT KEEPS MESSING UP AND YOU DON'T HAVE IT TO BEGIN WITH BECAUSE ITS IN THE SHOP. I WAS REAR ENDED AND SIDE SWIPE SO NOW THEY WANT TO SAY THAT IS WHY I'M HAVING PROBLEMS AND DON'T WANT THE TRUCK. I DIDN'T WANT IT BEFORE BUT GOT THE RUN AROUND. I DON'T PAY GOOD MONEY FOR SOMETHING THAT IS A PIECE OF ?!@#$%. *TR

SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:ANTILOCK
I HAVE HAD (2) OCCASIONS WHEN I APPLIED MY BRAKES HARD SUDDENLY AND LOST CONTROL OF MY VEHICLE BECAUSE IT CONTINUED TO SLIDE. I TOOK IT IN TO HAVE IT INSPECTED AND THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN DID CONFIRM THAT MY VEHICLE DOES EXACTLY WHAT I STATED AND HE INFORMED ME THAT I HAVE ABS BRAKES ON THE REAR AND NOT ON THE FRONT AND THEREFORE A SUDDEN, FORCEFUL STOP WILL CAUSE MY FRONT WHEELS TO LOCK UP. THIS HAS BEEN STATED IN WRITING ON THE SERVICE SHEET. THEREFORE, WHEN THE FRONT WHEELS LOCK UP, THE VEHICLE SLIDES AND I LOSE CONTROL. I CALLED MITSUBISHI AND THEY SAID THAT IT IS NORMAL FOR THE BRAKES TO FUNCTION THIS WAY AND THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS. I FIND THIS VERY UNACCEPTABLE AND I AM NOW VERY FEARFUL OF HAVING TO MAKE A SUDDEN STOP. THERE HAVE BEEN RECALLS ON CERTAIN OF THESE VEHICLES (RAIDERS) BUT I WAS TOLD MINE WAS NOT ONE OF THEM. HOWEVER, I SEEM TO EXPERIENCE EXACTLY WHAT THE RECALLED VEHICLES EXPERIENCE. *JB
