ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
I HAVE A 2006 MITSUBISHI RAIDER THAT HAS ELECTRICAL ISSUES, SOMETIMES THE DASH LIGHTS GO OUT, ALL THE GAUGES QUIT WORKING, INCLUDING SPEEDOMETER AND THE RADIO CUTS OFF.....SOMETIMES DAILY, WEEKLY, MONTHLY. EVEN AFTER TAKING TO DEALER NUMEROUS TIMES. REAR BRAKES HAVE BEEN LOCKING UP AND 'DRAGGING' UPON STOPPING SOMETIMES, HASN'T DONE IT LATELY, I THINK THE PART MAY HAVE FINALLY BROKE. THERE IS A RECALL ON THIS ITEM, BUT DEALER SAYS MY TRUCK WAS NOT IN THAT SERIES OF SERIAL NUMBERS THE DEFECT WAS FOUND IN, ALTHOUGH IT DOES THE SAME THING AS THE RECALLED TRUCKS MADE THE SAME YEAR AS MINE. NOW THE REAR BRAKE DRUM IS LEAKING BRAKE FLUID. TRUCK HAS 36, 000 ON IT, DEALERS HAVE BEEN NO HELP WHATSOEVER ON ANY OF THE ISSUES. *TR

SUSPENSION:REAR
SHORTLY AFTER THE FIRST 7000 MILES A NOISE, LIKE METAL OBJECTS B EGAN COMING FROM REAR OF THE VEHICLE, USUALLY DURING TURNS. THE FREQUENCY INCREASED TO THE POINT WHERE IT WAS HEAR ALMOST ALL TURNS. DEALER INSPECTED AND STATED THAT IT WAS NORMAL FOT THIS VEHICLE. IT SOUNCED LIKE SOMETHING WAS LOOSE. *AK
