VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
FACTORY RECALL WE WERE NOTIFIED TO HAVE OUR CRUISE CONTROL ON OUR 2002 MAZDA 4WD-B400 PU DISCONNECTED BECAUSE OF A FACTORY RECALL. WE DID THIS IN OCTOBER 2007. TO DATE WE HAVE HEARD NOTHING ABOUT THE REPAIRS. OUR DEALERS KEEPS TELLING US THAT THEY ARE WAITING FOR PARTS. WHERE IN THE WORLD ARE THESE PARTS MANUFACTURED THAT THEY CAN'T GET THEM BY NOW? SINCE THEN WE ARE GETTING AN "ENGINE LIGHT ON" WHICH INDICATES THAT WE EITHER HAVE A SHORT CIRCUIT CONDITION OR THE DPFE/EGR VALVE PRESSURE SENSOR HAS FAILED. I WANT TO KNOW IF THIS IS DUE TO THEIR DISCONNECTING THE CRUISE CONTROL? PLEASE LET ME KNOW SOON! *TR
