I WAS DRIVING MY CHILDREN IN THE SUMMER AND MY ENGINE BEGAN SQUEALING VERY LOUDLY, THE A/C STOPPED WORKING, AND THE STEERING LOCKED UP. WE TOOK THE CAR TO GET IT FIXED AND THEY SAID THE CRANK SHAFT BOLT IN THE ENGINE HAD BROKEN COMPLETELY. THEY SAID THE ONLY THING WE COULD DO IS REPLACE THE ENTIRE ENGINE, WHICH IS $4000. WE FOUND SOMEONE WHO REPLACED THE BOLT, BECAUSE WE COULDN'T AFFORD A NEW ENGINE, AND NOW THE HEAT DOESN'T WORK, IT STILL SQUEALS, AND OUR RADIO COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING AS WELL. WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH THIS VEHICLE, AND WE ARE ONLY AT 65000 MILES. *TR

WHILE COMING TO A STOP AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED BUT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE, THE RPM GAUGE DID NOT MOVE, BUT THE VEHICLE WOULD MOVE FORWARD AT ENGINE IDLE SPEED (REACHING ABOUT 20MPH ON A LEVEL SURFACE). THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE THROTTLE BODY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *TR
