MY GAS TANK OVER FLOWS AND GASOLINE GUSHES OUT EVERY TIME I FILL MY GAS TANK AT EVERY GAS STATION. THE GASOLINE PUMP AUTO SHUT OFF VALVE DOES NOT ACTIVATE UNTIL GASOLINE GUSHES OUT PAST THE GAS TANK FILLER NECK AND INTO THE PLASTIC GAS FILL AREA. FROM THERE THE GASOLINE CONTINUES TO LEAK ONTO THE PAINTED BODY OF MY JEEP. NOTABLY, TRYING TO INSERT THE GASOLINE PUMP INTO ALL CONCEIVABLE DEPTHS INTO THE GASOLINE FUEL FILLER NECK HAS NO EFFECT ON THE GASOLINE GUSHING ISSUE. THIS PROBLEM DIDN'T START UNTIL MY JEEP HIT ABOUT 40,000 MILES ON THE ODOMETER (I AM THE 1ST OWNER). THIS LEADS ME TO BELIEVE SOMETHING WITHIN THE FUEL FILLING SYSTEM OR POSSIBLY EVAP SYSTEM IS CORRODED, PLUGGED UP, OR OTHERWISE FOULED AS THERE IS NO EXTERIOR DAMAGE. THIS COULD CREATE MULTIPLE DANGEROUS SITUATIONS BOTH AT THE GAS STATION AND ON THE ROAD.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 JEEP WRANGLER. WHILE DRIVING UP A STEEP HILL AT APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH, THE CONTACT CONTINUOUSLY APPLIED PRESSURE TO THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE PEDAL WOULD VIBRATE AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT SLOW DOWN. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS, THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL DOWN TO THE FLOOR IN ORDER TO STOP THE VEHICLE. NO WARNING LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS RELATED TO A MALFUNCTION OF THE WIRING IN THE ABS. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. ON A SEPARATE OCCASION, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR AN IDENTICAL FAILURE AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO DETECT THE MALFUNCTION. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 12,300.
