BEGINNING APPROXIMATELY ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF PURCHASE, MY MOON ROOF BEGAN TO RATTLE WHEN DRIVING, BOTH OPENED AND CLOSED. I TOOK IT TO MY HONDA DEALERSHIP AND THEY REPLACED A BOLT. APPROXIMATELY 4 MONTHS LATER, IT HAD WORKED ITSELF OUT AGAIN BUT THE DEALERSHIP DID NOT HAVE THE TIME TO ADDRESS IT ON THAT VISIT. I TOOK IT BACK 2 WEEKS LATER AND THEY REPLACED THE ENTIRE MOON ROOF MECHANISM. THREE MONTHS LATER, I RETURNED WITH THE SAME RATTLE AND THEY TIGHTENED THE BOLT AND SAID NOTHING ELSE COULD BE DONE, THAT I WOULD HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT. I LODGED A COMPLAINT WITH THE HONDA CORPORATION AND THEY TOLD ME TO TAKE IT TO A DIFFERENT HONDA DEALERSHIP, LIE TO THEM AND TELL THEM THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME IT WAS GOING TO BE ADDRESSED AND SEE WHAT THEY THOUGHT. I DID NOT LIE TO THEM, BUT THEY HEARD THE RATTLE. THEY SAID IT SEEMED TO BE A RECURRING PROBLEM WITH THIS HONDA MODEL AND THAT I COULD APPLY OIL TO HELP WITH THE RATTLE, OTHERWISE I WOULD JUST HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT FOR THE DURATION OF THE CAR. THE OIL HAS NOT HELPED. *NM |
