DT: THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 HONDA ACCORD. SHE TOOK VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR A ROUTINE SERVICE CHECK IN AUGUST 2005. THE SERVICE DEALER DID NOT TIGHTEN THE LUG S:NUTS TIGHT ENOUGH. ON 10-09-05 SHE WAS DRIVING HOME AT 25 MPH AND THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL POPPED OFF. CONTACTS VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED A MINOR ACCIDENT, AND IT TORE UP THE FRONT END OF THE CAR. THE DEALERSHIP TOLD HER SHE SHOULD GET THE INSURANCE COMPANY INVOLVED. THE CONTACT HAS NOT YET SPOKEN TO INSURANCE COMPANY. SHE PLANNED TO TALK TO HER ATTORNEY. CONSUMER STATES DESIGN DEFECT IMPEDES PROPER REAR VIEW VISION. *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED THE REAR WINDOW OF THE VEHICLE HAS A HEAVY BAR RUNNING HORIZONTALLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WINDOW. THE BAR MAY HAVE BEEN REQUIRED FOR THE STRUCTURE OF THE REAR DOOR, BUT IT SUBSTANTIALLY BLOCKED THE REAR VISION FOR THE DRIVER. *JB
