OWNER OF HONDA ACCORD LX 2008. AT 15,000 MILES I EXPERIENCED ODD BACK NOISE (TINNY, AIRY SOUND). DEALER DOWNPLAYED UNTIL TEST DRIVE WITH ME. CHECKED BRAKES AND INFORMED ME ALL 4 BACK PADS WERE WORN TO THE METAL. REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY BUT I'VE SINCE LEARNED VIA INTERNET THAT THE ROTORS ARE TOO SMALL SO WILL PROBABLY HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITHIN A YEAR. *TR

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL BEGAN TO SHAKE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE PEDAL ACCELERATOR ASSEMBLY WAS LOOSE AND MADE THE REPLACEMENT. APPROXIMATELY FOUR DAYS LATER, THE SHAKING RECURRED. THE DEALER ROTATED THE TIRES, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. AS OF JULY 17, 2007, THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE DEALER SUGGESTED THAT THE CAUSE OF FAILURE COULD BE THE LOWER STEERING SHAFT, HOWEVER, THE PART WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE POWERTRAIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 2,200 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,000.
