ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
THE POWER DOOR LOCK ELECTRIC MOTORS FREEZE UP AND DO NOT OPERATE WITH THE ELECTRIC SWITCH. THE FROZEN POWER DOOR LOCK DOES NOT ALLOW THE DOOR TO BE OPENED PROPERLY AND QUICKLY IN AN EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY. THE MANUAL DOOR LOCK RELEASE KNOB MUST BE UTILIZED IN ORDER TO UNLOCK THE DOORS. THIS SAFETY ISSUE AFFECTS ALL FOUR DOORS OF THE VEHICLE. THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED SAFETY HAZARD, WE CURRENTLY HAVE 2 IN OUR FLEET AND ALL THE POWER DOOR LOCKS DON'T OPERATE SAFELY OR PROPERLY. WE HAVE HAD OTHER FORD EXCURSIONS WHICH ALL WERE AFFECTED WITH THE DEFECTIVE POWER DOOR LOCKS. THE FRONT DOOR MANUAL RELEASE KNOB IS FLUSH WITH THE DOOR PANEL WHICH MAKES IT EVEN MORE DIFFICULT TO ATTEMPT TO ESCAPE FROM THE VEHICLE IN AN EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY. *TR
