THE TIPM FAILED IN MY 2008 DODGE NITRO CAUSE ME TO LOSE SHIFTING CAPABILITY. I LOST ALL CONTROL OF ELECTRICAL FEATURES. THE WINDOW WIPERS, FLUID, HORN WERE ALL ON AND UNCONTROLLABLE. I TURNED THE CAR OFF BUT IT KEPT RUNNING. THE DOOR LOCKS LOCKED AND UNLOCKED RANDOMLY. TRAVELING ON 3 LANE HIGHWAY AT 65 MPH WITH 2 YOUNG GRANDDAUGHTERS IN CAR RIGHT FRONT VALVE STEM BLEW OUT CAUSING CAR TO VEER TO RIGHT. UPON INSPECTION BY MECHANIC 2 MORE VALVE STEMS HAD CRACKED NUTS. HAD TO REPLACE ALL STEMS, 1 SENSOR AND 1 TIRE. DEALERSHIP REFUSES TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY EVEN THO THEIR TECH ADMITS THERE IS A DESIGN FLAW IN THE STEM. I CALLED SCHRADER ELECTRONICS (THE MANF.) THEY ALSO ADMIT THERE IS A DESIGN FLAW BUT BECAUSE IT IS EOM PRODUCT I MUST DEAL WITH CHRYSLER. THEY ALSO REFUSE TO ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY.
