POST FILL UP AT LOCAL SERVICE STATION ENGINE STARTED CUTTING OUT THEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. LUCKILY THE WIFE WAS CLOSE TO HOUSE AND SHE MADE IT BACK HOME. I PULLED CODE P0300 WHICH IS A RANDOM MISFIRE DETECTED AS PER CHRYSLER SPECS. VERIFYING ALL PLUGS WERE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER BY PULLING TWO AT A TIME. I RESET THE PCM BY DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY AND PULLING FUSE #11 UNDER THE HOOD. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TURNED OFF AND THE PROBLEM WAS GONE. SINCE THE INCIDENT I HAVE FELT UNSAFE PUTTING MY WIFE AND KIDS IN THE VEHICLE. POST FILL UP A WEEK LATER SAME THING. I PERFORMED THE SAME STEPS TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM. I DO NOT FEEL I HAVE RECEIVED BAD GAS AS MY WHOLE SUBDIVISION (2,600 HOMES) UTILIZES THIS LOCAL SERVICE STATION. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 DODGE MAGNUM. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, ALL OF THE LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY ATTEMPTED TO SHUT DOWN. THIS FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION MADE A LOUD NOISE AS IF IT WERE GOING TO DROP OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND BEGAN TO SLIP. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD ATTEMPT TO STALL WHEN ATTEMPTING A TURN IN EITHER DIRECTION. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS BUT THEY OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 103,000.
