SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FOUNDATION COMPONENTS:DISC:ROTOR
WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS RIGHT REAR WHEEL LOCKED UP DUE TO REAR CALIPER FAILING TO RELEASE . CAUSED LARGE AMOUNT OF SMOKE TO POUR FROM REAR TIRE . BRAKES WERE CHECKED NUMEROUS TIMES FOR NOISE UNDER WARRANTY . NO FAULTS WERE FOUND ACCORDING TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT . PREVIOUSLY VEHICLE HAS HAD TWO SETS OF FRONT ROTORS,THREE SETS OF FRONT PADS .REAR PADS REPLACED AT JUST OVER 31K MILES . NOW AT 39K REAR CALIPERS ARE SEIZED WHICH CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE REAR ROTORS AND PADS . DEALERSHIP PAID FOR THE REAR CALIPERS . CHRYSLER REFUSES TO ANSWER MY CONCERNS .JUST HAD TO SHELL OUT $416.00 FOR REAR PADS AND ROTORS. SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF WHILE UNDER WARRANTY WHEN IT WAS FIRST NOTED . CLEARLY THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE WHICH SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED . *TT

HAVE TAKEN VEHICLE TO DEALER 4 TIMES FOR GRINDING SOUND WHEN BRAKING. HAVE BEEN TOLD IT COULD NOT BE REPLICATED. TOLD ROTOR AND PADS ARE GOOD. LOOKING AT PREVIOUS COMPLAINTS, REALIZED DEALER IS PLAYING A GAME ( AFTER 12000MILES) ROTORS NOT COVERED. I PRESENTLY HAVE 11000 MILES. GREAT BUSINESS PRACTICE BY DODGE. *TR
