I HAVE A 2009 DODGE JOURNEY. THE BRAKES STARTED TO MAKE A GRUMBLING NOISE WHEN I STEPPED ON THE BRAKE. I HAD ONLY 14,000 MILES ON THE CAR. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID IT WAS THE BRAKES AND WANTED ME TO PAY FOR THE REPAIR. I TOOK IT TO MY MECHANIC BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT THE SAME DODGE BRAKES ONIT. WE USED BENDIX BRAKE PADS. I WAS OK UNTIL I HIT APPROXIMATELY 21 K MILES. THE DEALER THEN TOLD ME I NEED NEW ROTORS. I THEN TOOK IT TO MY MECHANIC AND REPLACED THE ROTORS WITH THE HOLED AFTERMARKET ROTORS BECAUSE THEY STAY COOL AND WILL NOT HEAT UP. WITHIN 300 MILES AFTER I REPLACED THE ROTORS AND SHOES, THE CAR STARTED THE SAME SYMPTOMS AGAIN. SHAKING WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED. DODGE SHOULD COME OUT AND RECALL THE BRAKES ON THIS CROSSOVER. MY DEALER TOLD ME THAT THEY USE CAR BRAKES ON THIS TRUCK AND THEY SHOULD HAVE EQUIPPED IT WITH TRUCK BRAKES BECAUSE IT IS TOO HEAVY. I BOUGHT THIS CAR WITH THE EXPECTATION EVERYONE HAS FROM A NEW CAR AND I AM VERY UPSET WITH DODGE. THEY NEVER COVERED ANY OF THE BRAKE SYSTEM UNDER WARRANTY AND I AM POURING ALL THIS MONEY ON THIS CAR THAT I DO NOT TRUST. DODGE SHOULD BE SUED FOR THIS CAR !!!!!*TR
